Press Release: A year-long investigation into the death 20 year old Donald Diego Turner has led to two arrests on the anniversary of the crime. 25 year old Jarvis Lamar Jessie and 19 year old Charmdar Turner, both of Pensacola have been arrested and charged with 1st degree murder.
Eyewitness statements and DNA evidence taken from the suspect vehicle lead to the arrest of Jarvis by Escambia County Deputies on Sunday afternoon, Charmdar Turner is currently serving time in the state system on an unrelated charge. Donald Diego Turner was shot outside of his home in the 1600 block of Augusta Avenue on March 21, 2010.
Jessie is currently being held without bond in the Escambia County Jail.
