The businesses in the first block and a half of Palafox Place were flooded overnight. Nick Zangari of New York Nick’s has standing water in this sports bar. According to Nick, the water came gushing from the street drains on the street. His place didn’t have a sewer order by a few others did.

Owners, managers and clean-up crews are working hard to clean-up the mess and get open as soon as possible. New York Nick’s will be closed through the weekend as they deal with the damage.
