A friend of mine relayed the story that his neighbor was waffling about the vote so the neighbor went to the Vote No office to inquire about their “better plan” for the park. When he asked about their plan, he was accused of being a part of that “friends of the waterfront” crowd and a spy. The neighbor tried to explain, that no, he was in fact a resident of the City of Pensacola and sincerely wanted to hear their ideas, but instead he was practically thrown out of their office.
He left immediately, got an absentee ballot and voted YES!!
