Autism Pensacola picks Holly Strickland

Autism Pensacola has selected Holly Strickland as its new executive director. Strickland has more than 20 years of administrative and operational experience, and she has successfully managed medical practices, overseen service line operations and executed strategic initiatives throughout her career.

Background: Strickland earned both her bachelor’s degree in communications and her master’s degree in leadership communication at the University of West Florida. She holds certifications as a PSC adjunct professor and in healthcare ethics. Her past experience includes serving as operations manager, Gulf Coast Breathe Free; service line manager, Baptist Hospital; practice administrator, Advanced Women’s Care; and executive director, Escambia County Medical Society.

As executive director, Strickland will oversee operations, programs, fundraising, community outreach and staff leadership while collaborating closely with the board of directors. She will also serve as the chief spokesperson, representing Autism Pensacola at events and in the community.

Founded in 2002, Autism Pensacola is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is dedicated to connecting families in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties with the resources and support. As the leading voice for autism advocacy, education and community engagement in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties, Autism Pensacola works to empower individuals and families affected by autism through education, support networks, advocacy and enriching social programs.
