Bad air in Escambia

PNJ reports that the EPA has announced ozone levels in Escambia County are higher than the federal standards.
The county is among 345 nationwide and nine in Florida with ozone levels higher than the revised standard.

We have 12 years – that’s right 12 years – to come in compliance. Yeah, I’m sure somebody in state, county or city government will get right on it.
