The Phantom of the Opera, Ballet Pensacola’s 2022-2023 Season opener, tells the story of a masked figure lurking below in the catacombs of the Paris Opera House, exercising a reign of terror on all the inhabit it. The masked figure falls madly in love with a young ballerina and devotes himself to creating a new star by nurturing her extraordinary talents and by employing his devious methods.
Artistic Director Darren McIntyre uses his well-honed, imaginative choreography skills to bring The Phantom of the Opera to life with a unique interpretation of the story.
