Bands on the Bayou, presented by the East Hill Neighborhood Association, kicks off with Tyler Mac Band on Saturday, April 16 at 6:30pm at Bayview Park & Community Center. This will be the first event of a three-concert series, sponsored by East Hill Automotive, showcasing music talent and raising money for local nonprofit organizations. Concert goers will enjoy the free show from Bayview’s lawn on their own blankets, chairs, golf carts or boats anchored in Bayou Texar. Local food vendors and other family-friendly activities will also be onsite to enjoy. While this event is completely free and open to the public, Bands on the Bayou will be accepting donations, with all proceeds benefiting Emerald Coastkeeper and Ocean Hour.
