Baptist Health Care Foundation announces 2014 Hollinger Award Recipients

The Baptist Health Care Foundation proudly announces the 2014 Hollinger Award recipients, chosen for their outstanding service contributions to the community.

The 2014 recipients are:

Womens Board Volunteer

Stacey Balka, Outreach Service Line Director, Baptist Hospital

Volunteer of the Year

Marguerite Averett

Physician of the Year

John J. Baehr, M.D., Radiologist

Contributor in the Field of Health Care

Robert Wilson, Pharmacist

Lifetime Achievement

William H. Langhorne II, M.D., FACC, Cardiologist

The Foundation award is named in honor of long-time supporters of Baptist Health Care, Pick and Alberta Hollinger. The couple worked tirelessly to improve the quality of life for those served by Baptist. The 2014 recipients were recognized at the Baptist Health Care Board of Directors annual meeting. With exceptional generosity and a spirit of servant leadership, these individuals truly embrace the standards set by the Hollingers.
