The Rubio camp – and the new head of the Florida GOP, James Thrasher – are firing back at Gov. Crist, the former party chief Jim Greer and Crist friend and former Florida GOP executive director Delmar Johnson.
Chairman Jim Greer is under criminal investigation over a secret fundraising contract he signed with Johnson that paid their company at least $200,000.
The Thrasher/Rubio camp has leaked to the Orlando Sentinel reports from outsider auditors that they were also “unable to verify that thousands of dollars in credit-card charges on travel, meals and entertainment made by both Greer and Johnson were for party business, as well as whether more than $50,000 in reimbursements for travel, meals and ‘supplies’ paid to Greer by the party last year were for legitimate expenses.”
