Bayview Park: Spring Into Wellness on Sunday

East Hill Neighborhood Association and City of Pensacola to Host Family-Friendly Health and Wellness Event at Bayview Park

East Hill Neighborhood Association, in partnership with the City of Pensacola, will be hosting its first-ever Spring Into Wellness event on Sunday, March 19, from 1-5 p.m. at Bayview Community Resource Center, 2001 East Lloyd Street, and throughout Bayview Park in East Hill. The event is free and open to the public.

The Association hopes to raise awareness of City parks and recreational opportunities and to provide access to healthy outdoor activities, health and wellness information, healthy food options,and free, family fun! This year’s inaugural event features:

*Two guided kayak eco-tours of Bayou Texar!
*One-hour East Hill slow ride with Bike Pensacola!
*Over 25 health and wellness vendors!
*Free, 30-minute express yoga, barre, strength training, and meditation classes (Including Kids Music and Movement class!)
*Pickleball and tennis instruction and demos!
*Guided Bayview Park nature walk with Christian Wagley!
*Kids activities!

The East Hill Neighborhood Association serves to showcase local businesses, bring family-friendly fun to the East Hill Neighborhood, and build community. In addition to Spring Into Wellness, the East Hill Neighborhood Association also spearheads the East Hill Maker’s Market series (6 events annually), the outdoor concert series Bands on the Bayou (3 events annually), which showcases both local, regional, and national talent, and Big Screen on the Bayou (4 events annually), which features an outdoor movie on a jumbo screen overlooking beautiful Bayou Texar. Association events are free and open to the public. Funds raised at these and other events—through sponsorships, vendor fees, and donations—are used to support East Hill park and neighborhood improvement projects as well as other community non-profit organizations.
