The daily newspaper has published its Best of the Bay. Readers and business owners have asked when will be releasing the ballots. We’ve set July 21 as the date, and I don’t anticipate many changes to the ballot. We will offer a special rate for businesses to advertise in that issue, but we’re not running special promotions for businesses to campaign in the paper while the ballots are being collected.
For the past 12 years, we’ve kept the process clean, dealing with blatant ballot stuffing and trying to be sure that the winners deserve the the categories that they win. There is always controversy, but that’s what makes list so popular.
