The Biloxi, Miss. city council visited the area recently. This is from a story in the Biloxi Sun Herald:
It was a different story when (Councilman) Glavan visited the new stadium in Pensacola Sunday. A restaurant owner told him a game day at the downtown ball field is “like turning on a switch,” with customers coming in before and after the game. The Pensacola stadium exceeded his expectations. After each inning were activities for the kids and after the game people walked from the stadium to downtown businesses.
