Take part in one, two, or three of this Trail Run Series through beautiful, tree-lined forests of the Blackwater River State Park. Each race of the Trail Series challenges each participant while creating lasting memories. Bring your whole family to enjoy the great outdoors! The series kicks off with Race #1: 10 mile challenge on April 5, 2014, followed by Race #2: Half Marathon on November 22, 2014, and wrapping up with Race 3: 50K Feb. 21, 2015.
Race #1: 10M Challenge – April 5, 2014
This run takes place on majestic Juniper Creek Trail. Choose to challenge yourself with either a 10-mile trail run. An after party follows the run on the beaches of Blackwater River.
Race # 2: Half Marathon – November 22, 2014
The Half Marathon takes place beneath the tall pines of the Krul and Bear Lake Recreation Areas.
Race #3: 50K Ultra – February 21, 2015
This exciting, challenging race offers the opportunity for participants to push themselves to new levels. The course is a flat, but tough, course along Jackson Trail between Bear & Hurricane Lakes.
