No, it isn’t Escambia County. Mobile County school board on Monday unanimously voted to close two schools when classes end next week Glendale Elementary in Prichard and Shaw High in northwest Mobile.
The Escambia County School Board could never make such a decisive vote and make it effective in two weeks. No, too many former teachers, principals and system insiders on the board. They can even agree on budget cuts.
