It stars Sacha Baron Cohen (who played Ali G on HBO for two seasons) as TV newsman from the
glorious nation of Kazakhstan. The flick took in $29 million to remain the No. 1 movie for a second straight weekend. “Borat” raised its 10-day total to $67.8 million.
I spent a third of the movie with my hands over eyes and laughing. Cohen really riddles the South. Revivals, South Carolina frat boys and Southern dinner manners are all targets in his pursuit of his love – Pamela Anderson (Baywatch version).
