Bounty raised for Cantonment Cow Strangler

NorthEscambia.com reports that the Humane Society of the United States is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the Memorial Day death of a pregnant cow in north Escambia County. The Junior Humane Society/United Humanitarians is now offering an additional $350 reward.

Rumors that the death of the cow was a suicide are completely unfounded, according to our sources. The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office is looking for the unborn calf’s father for questioning. The ECSO has not issued an statement whether death is gang-related.
