BP pays Walton County $7.6 million

The Northwest Florida Daily News reports that Walton County has received $7.6 million from BP due to recently negotiated settlement in its three-year lawsuit regarding the 2010 Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill . The County Commission has received a check for $3,356,219.14 and the Tourist Development Council got $4,280,983.66.
