The Volunteer Reception Center (VRC) at Hillcrest Baptist Church will deactivate at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27. Greg Strader, Executive Director for BRACE, states: “the outpouring of volunteer support has been extraordinary since the February 15 and 23 tornadoes. All requests for volunteer team assistance received from disaster relief partners have been assigned to teams.â€
If survivors still need assistance in addressing unmet disaster related needs caused by the tornado, they may call 2-1-1 to be referred for assistance. Hillcrest Baptist Church and BRACE thank the hundreds of volunteers that responded to the urgent needs in our community.
