Amid a bitter impasse with the Senate about the budget and health-care issues, the House adjourned “sine die” about 1:15 p.m. Central. The adjournment came three days before the annual legislative session was scheduled to end. The Senate continued taking up bills after the House adjourned.
One of my sources texted me 10 minutes ago: “House just gave the Senate the middle finger and adjourned for the session. Total JV move. This place is electric right now.”
