Broxson Pre-Qualifies for State Representative, District One.
Midway resident and local businessman Douglas Broxson 59, has pre-qualified to campaign for the seat of State Representative District 1. This is the last term for Republican Greg Evers who currently holds the seat.
Broxson says,“I look forward to serving my community. Public service has been a part of my family heritage in the Northwest Florida area since the early 1800s. I hope to meet as many voters as possible to seek their advice and counsel. We must work together to have clean economic growth for our area, boost agriculture and continue to be hospitable to our military.â€
Broxson is a graduate of Milton High School 1967, Pensacola Junior College 1969, and Evangel University, Springfield, Missouri, 1971 where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree
