Bush-Clinton battle – Clinton was provoked

clintonThe raising escalation in the battle between the Bush Administration and the Clintons is not something that Bill Clinton really wanted. However the persistent attacks on his administration by the Neo-cons, Cheney and the Conservative Right have provoked him.

At the AAN convention in Little Rock (Little Rock and Back Again), Pres. Clinton was very respective towards Pres. Bush. He refused to attack Bush and instead spoke of his friendship with him. The crowd would have loved for Clinton to take a few swipes at him, but  he didn’t.

“I’ve gotten to know the man,” Clinton told the audience. “He (Pres. Bush) firmly believes in his policies. We may disagree, but I respect him.”

Clinton went on to say that he gone on several diplomatic missions for the President as well as help with raising funds for Tsunami and Hurricane victims with the GW’s father.
