The federal government is now invested in the banking system, to the tune of $250 billion. For months, I’ve heard Republicans complain that Barack Obama would lead this country into socialism. However, it appears the GOP administration couldn’t wait.
Not saying it’s wrong, but you have to appreciate the irony. This financial crisis requires that we be innovative and creative. I hope this plan works.
