Buzz: A.A. Dixon has pulled its school grade up

The word that we are getting is that A.A. Dixon Charter School of Excellence has successfully pulled its grade up to at least a D level. The state has yet to release the official grades, but the school grade is a over 400 points. The minimum for a D grade is 375, according to our sources.

If this holds to be true, then Superintendent Malcolm Thomas and the school board show through a celebration for these teachers and students have accomplished. The true turnaround school will be Dixon.
