Buzz: Arson in Cordova Park

Cordova Park arson

Early Saturday morning, someone set a vehicle on fire near the home of Escambia County Clerk Pam Childers. Neighbors reported that police are protecting her home.

On the Cordova Park Neighborhood Facebook page, her husband, Bruce Childers, has posted:

“Does anyone have a surveillance video from around 4:00 p.m. to 4:30 a.m. Saturday morning (June 1) in the Hallmark and Tronjo Rd. area? Looking for a suspicious white panel van that was seen in the area about that time.

Pensacola Police Department confirm its officers are working the case and has called in the state fire marshall. Stay tuned.
