Buzz: Banjanin may be back

We’re hearing the Tom Banjanin is sniffing around City Council District 3 and be filing to run against Maren DeWeese. Old Guard vs. Soccer Mom—could make for an interesting race. Former County Commissioner Banjanin – who considered unbeatable in 2006 – was defeated in the Republican primary by newcomer Grover Robinson. DeWeese beat another veteran politician Mike DeSorbo in 2008 to win the District 3 seat.
