Buzz: CMPA committee refuses special audit of park expenditures

Yesterday at its committee meeting, the chairman of the Community Maritime Park Associates Operations & Audit Committee, Councilman Larry Johnson, made a motion for a special audit of the expenditures incurred for the Community Maritime Park.

The motion failed 3-3. Johnson, Dick Baker and Jim Reeves voted in favor of the special audit. Reid Rushing, Fred Gunther and James Smith voted against it.
