Buzz: CMPA scraps stadium seating, only gets $1500

The Community Maritime Park Associates had the Blue Wahoos pay over $200,000 to upgrade stadium seats at the Maritime Park. What happened to the seats that the CMPA had already paid for? Instead of giving them to City or County Parks & Rec departments or to the public schools in Escambia County, the new seats were sold as scrap for about $1,500, according to our sources.
