Local Republicans are giddy. In the next two weeks, locals can see, touch and hear Gov. Rick Scott, former Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfield and Fox TV host Mike Huckabee. Local law enforcement and Homeland Security are keeping their eyes out for anyone buying unusual quantities of eggs or pies….just in case any Commie liberals get any ideas.
Governor Rick Scott will be the featured guest at the March 24 Lincoln Day Dinner, hosted by the Escambia County Republican Party.
Rumsfeld will hold a book signing Sunday, March 27 at 1 p.m. at the Naval Aviation Museum.
Huckabee will be here to celebrate WCOA’s 85th anniversary on March 30.
