Buzz: Jerralds wants Young’s seat

The word that I keep hearing is that Pensacola City Councilman John Jerralds is seriously thinking about running for Marie Young’s County Commmission seat. Young told several people during her last campaign that this would be her last term—–but she said the same thing when Gov. Jeb Bush in 2002 and when she got ran in 2004. Jerralds has already started recruiting people for his campaign.

If Young doesn’t run in 2012, Jerralds could face stiff opposition from fellow council member, Jewel Cannada-Wynn, and Lumon May. I wouldn’t count Hugh King out as a possible candidate either.
