Buzz: Meet new ECUA director

PENSACOLA–Sources have shared that Rebecca Shelton, P.E., is on track to be the next executive director of the Emerald Coast Utilities Authority. Shelton is currently the deputy director of facilities operations for Gwinnett County. Ga. Department of Water Resources, where she oversees the assessment, maintenance and rehabilitation of the county’s water, sewer and stormwater assets.

She is an active member of the American Society Civil Engineers Georgia Section where she led the development of the 2009 and 2014 Georgia Infrastructure Report Cards and was the 2014-2015 President. She has a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Central Florida and M.S. in Civil Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology.


Update: ECUA board voted yesterday to offer the job to Shelton.
