Buzz: Picking Team hampered

Narrowing down all the names submitted for Pensacola’s new Double AA baseball team was hampered by trademarks. We asked Quint Studer, team owner, about the six finalists.

“These were the ones that were most mentioned, many were eliminated due to trademark issues,” said Studer. “Thank you for your letting people know. The key was finding 6 non-protected names”

Studer said no decision has been on the final name. “Due to people’s excitement there are people having fun with names, logos, etc. We have not done any samples yet.”
