Buzz: UPS moving to Pensacola Airport


The word I’m getting both here and from friends in Mobile is United Parcel Service (UPS) is moving its regional operations from Mobile to Pensacola. Estimated jobs: 40+ Avg. salary: $40K+ It took Mayor Ashton Hayward and Gov. Rick Scott working in tandem with UPS officials to convince the company to move their operations here. Expect an announcement from the Mayor’s Office within the next two weeks.
