MLB.com is reporting that Pensacola’s Blue Wahoos, the Cincinnati Reds’ Double-A affiliate, are close to announcing the hire of Jim Riggleman as the team’s new manager. Riggleman managed the Washington Nationals last season. He resigned over a contract dispute. At the time of his departure, Washington had won 11 of 12 games.
