Pensacola City Councilwoman Sherri Myers will host a town hall March 19; the forum will focus on the development of Camelot Park. Here’s the city press release:
Pensacola City Councilwoman Sherri Myers will hold a town hall meeting next week for residents of the Camelot Neighborhood to discuss the development of a community park.
At present, the neighborhood’s Camelot Park is heavily wooded and undeveloped. Recently, the Florida Department of Transportation purchased certain lands in the neighborhood for use as a stormwater pond, and funds from the sale have been allocated for improvements to Camelot Park. Councilwoman Myers will meet with residents to begin developing ideas for the creation of a community park.
The meeting will begin at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, March 19 at the Tryon Branch Library on Langley Avenue. Persons with disabilities needing accommodations should contact Councilwoman Myers at (850) 484-0902 in advance of the meeting.
