Campaign sign shenanigans in judge race

funny protest sign
The race for Circuit County Judge between Michelle Inere and Jenny Kinsey is heating up, and as in most heated races, reports of sign tampering surface. We got a phone call yesterday that gray pick-up truck stole two large Inere campaign signs on Wednesday afternoon at the corner of Ninth Avenue and Olive Road. Witnesses unfortunately did not get the tag number.

There have been accusations of sign tampering in other races. Greg Fink, Commissioner Gene Valentino’s campaign manager, sent out on Monday this press release:

With the campaign coming into full swing this 4th of July weekend, Valentino’s campaign became victim with a large 4×8 sign being torn down from a private fence on Innerarrity Point Rd.

The sign was destroyed, folded and discarded on a property across the street who happened to have a Doug Underhill campaign sign in the yard.

Underhill is challenging Gene Valentino in the upcoming Republican primary for County Commissioner District 2
