Candidate Forums in July

—These forums will be unlike any you’ve ever attended. I am the moderator. The forums will be fast-paced and the candidates will have to stay on their toes. “Canned” answers aren’t going to work.

July 2010 Candidate Forums

Pensacola, Fla. — The Pensacola Bay Area Chamber of Commerce will host a series of candidate forums in July 2010 to be moderated by Rick Outzen.

The first candidate forum is July 13 which includes candidates for Florida State Senator (District 2) and Florida House of Representatives for Districts 1, 2, & 3.

Confirmed candidates to date include:

Florida Senate District 2 – Greg Evers and Mike Hill

Florida House of Representatives – District 1, Greg Brown, Doug Broxson, Ferd Salomon and Mathias Venditto.

Florida House of Representatives – District 2 –Clay Ingram and David Karasek

Florida House of Representatives – District 3 – Claudia Brown-Curry and Clay Ford

The forum is free and open to the public. It will be held at New World Landing, with the opportunity to “Meet and Greet” the candidates at 5 pm. The candidate forum begins promptly at 5:30 pm.

Upcoming: July 20th’s forum will include candidates for Escambia County Commission and July 27th includes candidates for City of Pensacola Mayor. All forums will be at the same location and times.
