The Pensacola City Council voted to unanimously for District 7 Councilwoman Jewel Cannada-Wynn. Both Sherri Myers and Jared Moore withdrew their names.
The council wanted to show unity and harmony. District 4 Councilman Jared Moore was elected vice-president by acclamation after P.C. Wu and John Jeralds withdrew their names.
