Press Release: Space is still available for the Community Occupational Talent Search (E-COTS) Skill Assessment Test scheduled for Thursday, October 9, 2014 at the Woodland Heights Resource Center located at 111 Berkley Dr., Pensacola, FL 32503.

Escambia County residents interested in participating in the E-COTS program can register for this week’s Skill Assessment Test at careersourceescarosa.com/ECOTS, or by calling (850) 607-8750.

The Skills Assessment Tests are being administered as part of a targeted workforce development initiative to assist individuals interested in finding a new job, furthering a career, or enhancing their skills and education.

CareerSource Escarosa will use the results from the skill assessments to refer individuals to specific programs or services designed to help them reach their desired career or educational goals. The results will also be used to identify local resident’s skill levels, educational obtainments, employability within current demand occupations, and to help identify the future workforce needs of Escambia County.

Community partners for the ECOT-S workforce initiative include the City of Pensacola, Escambia County Board of County Commissioners, Escambia Department of Community Affairs and the Greater Pensacola Chamber.
