The Century City Council listened last night to Scott Remington and Jason Crawford talk about consolidating Escambia County into one unified government. The council then passed a resolution that endorsed asking the state legislature to form a commission to further study the concept and draft a final document —dare i say a charter?—for county residents to vote on.
Next step is to present the Century, Pensacola City Council, and Escambia County Commission resolutions to our state delegation.
