Chain Reaction: Summer Volunteer Opportunities for Local Teens

Press Release: Attention all parents of high school students: School is finally out and Chain Reaction, Pensacola’s only teen volunteer organization, has many different opportunities to keep teens busy and productive this summer. Splash into summer by taking advantage of two exciting events that help teens earn numerous service hours.

Chain Reaction Teen Convention
It’s that time of year again! June marks the 6th annual Teen Convention hosted by Chain Reaction. Teens 14-18 years old from all over the country engage in three (3) days of high intensity leadership activities on June 18, 19 and 20. With over 15 different hands-on activities and 60 inspiring speakers, your teen is guaranteed to have fun! CR alumni and their peers will motivate your child to have a summer filled with service while becoming the best version of them self. The cost is $55 for CR member and $65 for non-CR members and includes food, convention t-shirt, and convention curriculum to take home. Teens will earn 20 service hours from the convention. Don’t miss out on this amazing opportunity. For more information, please contact Morgan Milbradt by calling 850-202-0691 or emailing marketing@mychainreaction.org. Applications are available online at mychainreaction.org.

Pensacola State College: Kid’s College
CR is currently recruiting teen volunteers to serve as summer camp counselors in professor-led classes adapted for kids ages 5-12 at Pensacola State College. Teens will assist teachers in the camps for different classes such as art, music, sports, fishing, Legos, space, movie making, science and many more. By the end of the summer, one teen can gain up to 300+ service hours. Spots are limited!
