Chappie James Bridge close to opening all lanes

From the Florida Department of Transportation:

Date: Sunday, Jan. 8 through Saturday, Jan. 14
Time: 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Location: Pensacola Bay Bridge
Description: Drivers will encounter alternating lane closures and lane shifts on the Pensacola Bay Bridge Sunday, Jan. 8 through Saturday, Jan. 14 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Crews will be using lanes on the current bridge as a platform to perform miscellaneous construction activities on the westbound (Gulf Breeze to Pensacola) structure.

FDOT spokesman Ian Satter told pnj.com that the westbound lanes are expected to be open in “late January or February.”
