Supervisor of Elections David Stafford reports that 7,990 ballots have been received by his office, about 1,600 today alone. He believes that about 14,000 votes will be cast, a 37-percent turnout.

Pensacola Young Professionals have stayed on the sidelines for this issue. Many of their leaders are involved with the consolidation effort. We have heard from the PYP leadership that they do plan a “Get Out The Vote” push leading up to the Nov. 24 deadline.
