The Choral Society of Pensacola presents the holiday classic Handel’s Messiah at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 6 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 3131 Hyde Park Road.
Messiah will feature the 60 singers of the Choral Society of Pensacola, the Choral Society of Pensacola Orchestra; and four excellent guest soloists, all under the baton of Choral Society Artistic Director, Xiaolun Chen. Guest soloists for the evening are Carla Connors, soprano; Monika Cosson, mezzo-soprano; Thomas Rowell, tenor; and Patrick Jacobs, bass-baritone.
Tickets for the concert are $22.00 for reserved section seating, $18.00 for general admission, and $5.00 for students and children. Visa and MasterCard can be used to purchase tickets in advance, and there is a $2.00 discount per ticket on the purchase of reserved or general admission tickets for groups of ten or more. Tickets can also be purchased through the Pensacola State College Lyceum Ticket Office (850-484-1847). Tickets will be available at the door beginning one hour prior to performance time.
