Christmas Lights, Holiday Haul & All I Want

This year the First City Lights Festival is starting early!! On Wednesday, Nov. 9th Friends of Downtown, The Shops on Palafox and DIB are working together to start the holiday season off early.

Santa will be in downtown Pensacola on 11/9 at 4:45 p.m. to turn on the lights for Christmas. The lighting will take place all over Palafox as Santa & the Grinch are escorted by PPD and PFD down Palafox to turn on the lights block by block. They will then visit all the shoppers taking advantage of the 6th Annual Holiday Haul.

Also, DIB will start its ‘All I Want’campaign to encourage shoppers to shop, dine, and play downtown this holiday season. The DIB is making this ‘All I Want’ the biggest and best one yet. This year as shoppers upload their receipts they will be entered to win not only a $1,000 downtown gift card but also be eligible for a daily giveaway. More than $4,000 in prizes were donated by many of the businesses in the DIB district, and we owe them a huge thank you for their contributions to making this happen.
