City, County holding joint workshop on ending homelessness

The Escambia County Board of County Commissioners, Pensacola City Council and Mayor D.C. Reeves will hold a joint workshop on Tuesday, May 9 at 9:30 a.m. at the Bayview Community Resource Center, 2000 E. Lloyd St..

The purpose of the workshop is to receive a presentation from Dr. Joe Savage, U.S. Interagency Council on Homelessness, entitled “All In: The Federal Strategic Plan to End Homelessness.”

Since this is a workshop only and no action will be taken, there will not be an opportunity for public comment.

The meeting will be live-streamed on the Escambia County YouTube page at youtube.com/@EscambiaCountyFL.

Dr. Savage will make the same presentation to the public on Tuesday, May 9 at 6 p.m. at CivicCon, which is free and open to the public. The event will take place at the REX Theatre, located at 18 N. Palafox St.Click here to register.
