City golf course

A favorite gripe of PNJ columnist Mark “Moby” O’Brien is the city-owned Osceola Golf Course – not the Port of Pensacola. Well, Fort Walton Beach is having similar issues with the budget for its golf course.

According to Daily News: After the first four months of 2008, the golf club has a net surplus of about $160,000. However, the golf club was nearly $100,000 ahead during that period last year and still spent nearly $200,000 more than it generated by the end of the year.
