My book ‘City of Grudges‘ is placed in Pensacola and uses many local restaurants – past and present – as settings for the action. We want to do a photo scavenger hunt with the prize being a $50 gift certificate to The Fish House.
The rules are simple.
1. We will give you a clue on Friday mornings.
2. Find the place and take a photo with your phone – you can choose to be in the photo or not.
3. Post the photo on Instagram, Facebook or both. Tag @routzen and @cityofgrudges.
4. For each correct answer, you will be entered into a drawing that will be done live at 7:02 a.m. on Monday, August 1 on WCOA’s “Real News with Rick Outzen.”
Clue #2: Narrow like most of the bars and restaurants along Palafox Street, the bar itself stretched the length of the front room. Small tables with two or three chairs were arranged on the tiled floor in no particular pattern in the space between the bar and the dartboard, Golden Tee, and other video games on the opposite wall. Pool tables sat in the back by the restrooms.
