City of Pensacola Sanitation Services will begin garbage collection at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 24 and continue throughout Saturday, Jan. 25. Please place trash cans at the curb by 9 a.m. Friday.
It is possible that all trash cans may not be collected during this two-day timeframe due to road conditions. The city will resume normal Sanitation Services collections Monday, Jan. 27. Sanitation Services customer service representatives are available to answer calls and can be reached at 850-435-1890.

City of Pensacola offices and facilities will remain closed and continue operating at a reduced capacity Friday, Jan. 24, due to road conditions. The city will return to normal business operations Monday, Jan. 27.

Parking Enforcement
The city will delay enforcing paid parking in Downtown Pensacola until 7 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 30. The delay allows residents to safely retrieve and move their vehicles following the recent extreme weather event. Other violations, such as parking on sidewalks, blocking sidewalks and handicapped parking violations, will still be enforced.
Pensacola Fire Department and Pensacola Police Department
The Pensacola Fire Department and Pensacola Police Department both received 20 calls for service last night, Jan. 22 and were able to respond without delay. Thank you to all who stayed off the roads, allowing first responders and emergency vehicles to assist those in need.
Pensacola International Airport:
The airport runway reopened at 11 p.m., Jan. 22, to allow airlines the opportunity to reposition their aircraft. Commercial operations at Pensacola International Airport have resumed. Travelers are advised to check with their individual airlines on scheduled departures and arrivals.
