From the City of Pensacola: The City of Pensacola is offering its citizens and employees an option to enroll in credit monitoring following last month’s network security incident. TransUnion is handling this. Letters with detailed instructions are being mailed out this week.
Pensacola Mayor D.C. Reeves says, “Since the beginning of this incident, we’ve been committed to keeping our employees, customers, and citizens informed as to how we respond. While we cannot be certain personal information has been taken, out of an abundance of caution, the City of Pensacola is providing credit monitoring.”
A dedicated toll-free response line has also been set up for this incident. This process allows the city to better track and respond to questions and concerns. The response line is available from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Central Time, Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. The number is 1-833-543-2815.
The city has also created a page with frequently asked questions. You can find that on the city’s website..
