More than 130 nominations were submitted by community members for the first-ever CivicCon Awards.
All in the community are invited to join CivicCon Founding Members for a free social gathering and awards program to honor the CivicCon Award winners from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 6.
The event is free and features the awards program, Â appetizer buffet and holiday cheer.
There are 10 award categories and there will be a total of 22 winners from those categories.
The CivicCon Awards are meant to identify and honor those community members in Escambia and Santa Rosa counties that have taken one or more of the best practices from the past four years of the CivicCon Speaker Series and put it to action.
Nominations were submitted by community members through a form on the Pensacola News Journal website or by sending an email to CivicCon. The CivicCon board members selected the winners.
Everyone is welcome to attend this festive free event. The evening has a holiday theme and dress is casual. To attend, we ask that you RSVP at this LINK.
